Manila Inspection Personnel over the past weekend began checking security features in dormitories for use by students for that coming school year.
Several dormitories close to the UBelt in Manila were looked over Friday and put together to possess some problems. The report stated the personnel particularly checked the establishments' business permits, fire extinguishers, fire exits and emergency lighting systems.
Managers of dormitories with defective safety precautions informed to deal with the issues soonest, before students start going to Manila and rent the dormitories. The assessments will be to continue until the beginning of School Year 2013-2014. For elementary and school, the college year begins on June 3.
Earlier, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulating Board stated it'll inspect automobiles used as school shuttle services. Because of its part, the PNP sets up patrols near schools to thwart crooks predatory on students.
